These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of Direct Aftercare services. By submitting your information, completing payment, or using our services, you agree to these Terms in full.

1. Service Overview

Direct Aftercare provides coordination services for pet aftercare, including cremation, through independent third-party crematories.

We do not perform cremation directly. All cremation services are carried out by licensed third-party providers.

2. Authorization & Ownership

By using our services, you confirm that:

  • You are the legal owner or authorized agent of the pet.
  • You authorize cremation and handling of your pet.
  • All information provided is accurate and complete.

3. Service Process

  • You must complete the online form before service.
  • You must follow drop-off or service instructions.
  • Services may be performed without further confirmation once submitted.

4. Pricing & Payment

Pricing is clearly displayed at the time of selection.

  • Communal cremation and private cremation pricing is fixed at time of payment.
  • Optional items (such as additional paw prints) must be selected before payment.
  • No additional items can be added after cremation begins.

5. Important Limitations

  • Cremation is an irreversible process.
  • Once initiated, no changes can be made.
  • Paw prints and keepsakes must be requested before cremation.

6. Refund Policy

All services are final and non-refundable once payment is submitted.

By completing payment, you acknowledge that:

  • Services may begin immediately.
  • Cremation cannot be reversed once started.
  • No cancellations or refunds will be issued.

7. Limitation of Liability

Direct Aftercare is not liable for:

  • Delays caused by third-party providers
  • Errors outside our direct control
  • Emotional distress or indirect damages

8. Third-Party Services

Cremation services are performed by independent providers. By using this service, you agree that Direct Aftercare is not responsible for the actions of these providers.

9. Drop-Off Responsibility

If you select a drop-off option:

  • You are responsible for transporting your pet.
  • You must follow scheduling instructions.
  • Appointments are required for after-hours access.

10. Identification & Handling

While strict identification procedures are followed, you acknowledge that cremation involves processes where absolute guarantees cannot be made.

11. Disputes

Any disputes must be submitted in writing. You agree to resolve disputes directly with Direct Aftercare before initiating chargebacks or legal action.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of any updates.
